Making some efficiency tweaks to the html/css.

I know I have been quite for a little while, but things are still happening behind the scenes. There should be an update to roll out by the end of the week.

I'm very, very excited for Threadara, I do think it fills that perfect void where it's easy to use but also very scalable for the most advanced admins. It's going to be amazing seeing what people do with their forums 🙂

This bug report has been marked as resolved in version 1.0.0 Alpha 6.

This should be resolved in the next release.

Addressed in the next version:

• Do not remove notifications from the drop down immediately, keep track of the last 10 with a view more link. Read/unread indication.

• Fix alert link from notifications page

• Fix alert link from bell menu

Thanks for reporting. Notification links are messed up, you are right.

I'll have a 1.0.0 Alpha 6 update out tomorrow.

Today I tried clicking on the notifications link in the upper right hand corner, now that I'm following Lee and I see he's posted some threads, but it doesn't take me to the post. It takes me to the main Notifications page. Same with going to profile messages in the notifications.

Internal FYI: This will come before the alpha testing release.

So there is a couple of things at play here which you have rightly pointed out.

The notification link is broken on the alert page. I thought it would be good to clear unread notifications from the bell menu, but maybe I misjudged. There should possibly be a read/unread icon instead.

Hmmm.

Public = Everybody can see the group and can view the content

Private = Everybody can see the group but can't view the content

Secret = Nobody can see the group.

The backend logic looks right on first inspection. Let me keep looking for this as there is certainly a bug there.

Hmm, that's very strange. Definitely need to work on permissions there!

Yeah, notifications should be a bit more friendly, and clicking should take you to the location, for sure.
